I’m Shannon Ratcliffe, a multi-hyphenate in the design industry. Over the past 25+ years, I’ve focused on sales, marketing, and networking events, giving me a unique opportunity to connect designers with new brands and craft one-of-a-kind networking experiences. For the past decade, I’ve been educating designers on the nuances of the print world while creating personalized networking opportunities that foster collaboration.

I graduated from UCLA and began developing my talent for bringing people together through networking and large conferences after working my way up in hospitality management. From there, I honed my event planning skills at the Long Beach Aquarium and Convention Center, organizing everything from Grand Prix events to weddings at the aquarium. My passion for connecting creative minds led me to the publishing world, where I applied my networking skills at major magazines like Modern Bride, The Knot, and Luxe Interiors + Design. It was during this time that my interest in residential design truly grew.

I realized the value of educating designers and creating networking opportunities that unite people with diverse perspectives. That led me to organize seminars, design events, and fun, collaborative gatherings that brought together like-minded creatives. Along the way, I’ve fine-tuned my ability to build teams and cultivate strong client relationships.

At the core of everything I do, I’m a people person—most fulfilled when I’m planning ways to educate and connect people who share a common love for design. That’s why I founded Curated Connections, a company dedicated to bringing luxury events and people together in unique and meaningful ways.
